[00:00.000]Plans by the European Space Agency
[00:03.000]to land a rover vehicle on Mars
[00:05.000]have suffered a further setback
[00:07.000]with the launch being delayed until 2016
[00:10.000]because of spiraling costs.
[00:12.000]That means a wait of another 3 years

[00:42.000]looked at the detailed design,
[00:43.000]they realized that would actually
[00:44.000]cost nearly double of that.
[00:46.000]Ministers have balked at the price.
[00:48.000]And European Space Agency officials are now
[00:51.000]being asked to look at ways of limiting the financial impact.
