[00:00.95]M: Have you ever lived abroad, Phyllis?...
[00:00.95]M: Have you ever lived abroad, Phyllis?
[00:03.38]W: Yes, I have actually.What about you?
[00:06.39]M: No, unfortunately I haven't.
[00:08.93]W: Oh, what a shame!
[00:10.60]M: Where did you live when you were abroad?
[00:13.29]W: I lived in Australia.
[00:15.32]M: Really? That's a long way away.
[00:17.91]W: Uhm, uhm, yes!
[00:19.58]M:How long were you there for?
[00:21.37]W: I was there for 12 years.
[00:24.27]M: Oh! What a long time!
[00:25.96]W: Yes. Rather.
[00:27.30]M: Erm, so how long have you been back in the UK?
[00:31.00]W: I've been back for about ten years now.
[00:33.91]M: When you were in Australia, did you think of it as your home?
[00:38.39]W: Well, it depends on what you mean by home. Home to me is being near the people you're fond of.
[00:45.72]M: Uhm, yeah. So does that mean that your family were with you in Australia?
[00:52.09]W: Yes, they were there with me.
[00:54.06]M: And presumably they came back to the UK?
[00:56.99]W: Yes, they did. They came back with me.
[00:59.97]M: Uhm, if you had a choice, where do you think you'd be living now?
[01:04.23]W: Oh, I would really like to go back to Australia.
[01:07.94]M: Oh, yeah? Why is that?
[01:09.47]W: Well, for one thing, it's the climate.
[01:12.59]M: Uhm.
[01:13.72]W: And, secondly, it's very relaxed.
[01:16.25]M: Oh? In what way?
[01:17.97]W: Well, you know, the way of life, nobody hurries.
[01:22.53]M: Uhm. Is that at work as well as socially?
[01:26.11]W: That's right, everything.
